We are excited to be a part of this grand event in the field of reproductive medicine, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year!
- The 40th ESHRE Annual Meeting in Amsterdam gathered over 12,000 reproductive medicine specialists from 138 countries.
- The ESHRE exhibition featured participation from 2,000 companies, clinics, and research laboratories from around the world. For attendees, it was a unique opportunity to closely examine the latest developments and assess their relevance in the modern medical services and technology market.
For us, participating in the exhibition was a wonderful opportunity to engage productively with colleagues and partners, showcase our achievements in genetic testing to a huge audience of professionals, explore potential collaboration opportunities, and establish valuable contacts.
As Dr. med. Violeta Fodina, the head of iVF Riga Holding emphasised, “The uniqueness of this event is that for the first time in the history of the ESHRE congress, the Latvian clinic, the Latvian Genetics centre also participates in the ESHRE Exhibition and has the opportunity to share its experience and successes with European colleagues.”
We sincerely thank the organizers and look forward to future meetings!

What really is PGT-A?
Preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) is simultaneous testing of the entire set of chromosomes of an embryo on the day 5 of development by NGS method (Next generation sequencing) before the embryo is transferred into the uterus. PGT-A makes it possible to choose the best and most viable genetically competent embryos, thus effectively increasing the rate of implantation, clinical pregnancy, and successful birth.
We are pleased to announce that on April 24, 2020 iVF Riga will organize and hold International Conference on Reproductive Medicine, Andrology and Genetics. The conference will bring together leading foreign lecturers, local and foreign doctors, scientists, genetics to discuss the latest techniques, developments and innovations in the fields of reproduction, andrology and genetics.

Genetic Laboratory of the Centre for Reproductive Genetics of iVF Riga Clinic carries out missed abortion material genetic testing basing on a complex analysis of all fetal chromosomes using aCGH method (array Comparative Genomic Hybridization). With the help of this testing may identify unbalanced chromosomal changes in 1-22 pairs of autosomes and in the X, Y sex chromosomes and get a clear answer to the question, whether the cause of an interrupted pregnancy are fetal chromosomal abnormalities.
